Job description

As an Implementation/Migration Consultant, you are the link between our customers and the software. In this role, you are responsible for both implementing and migrating our ORTEC Workforce Scheduling solution within the healthcare sector. You guide healthcare organizations in transitioning to ORTEC’s latest and most advanced software solutions, enabling them to make optimal use of the newest functionalities and innovations. You work with a wide range of organizations, such as Erasmus MC, Haga Hospital, Martini Hospital, Reade, Amarant, Vincent van Gogh, Florence, Treant, Lentis, and more than 100 other healthcare organizations.

Our mission is to optimize workforce planning. With our innovative solutions, we help organizations gain more control over their workforce processes, reduce employee workload, lower costs, and increase employee satisfaction. Each organization starts from a different situation, making every migration and implementation unique.

In this role, you configure our product correctly for each client and guide the full migration journey: from analyzing the current situation to testing and going live with the new software. Projects vary significantly in size and duration; some last a few months, while others take a year or longer. For some clients, we even act as a fixed and indispensable partner on-site.

You typically work on multiple projects simultaneously, often in different phases of implementation or migration. This variety in clients and projects ensures a dynamic work environment and a steep learning curve. The team consists of approximately 30 colleagues. From your start, you will be assigned an experienced consultant as a mentor. You will begin on projects together with colleagues and gradually grow into independently leading implementation and migration projects. You will regularly work on-site with clients, which helps you better understand their organization and maintain short communication lines.

The team mainly focuses on the Dutch market, but we also regularly support colleagues worldwide with migrations and implementations. If this interests you, you can also take on an active role in this area.

In addition, you will be part of our Young Professional Program, where you further develop your skills in techniques, tools, and project approaches. This program helps you build a strong network and also offers opportunities to relax, such as wrapping up the workweek together on Fridays in our in-house bar.

Who are you

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably with a technical background
  • You are a recent graduate or already have a few years of relevant work experience
  • You have strong analytical skills and an eye for quality; complex challenges motivate you
  • You are communicative, customer-oriented, and comfortable building relationships
  • You enjoy optimizing processes and organizations using IT solutions
  • You are curious, creative, and enjoy sharing knowledge and ideas with others
  • The technical aspect of the role energizes you; knowledge of databases and SQL is an advantage
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken)

What we offer

In addition to a permanent contract and a competitive salary:

  • Year-end bonus (13th month)
  • Mobility allowance of 3% of your gross monthly salary, including commuting and business travel reimbursement (or the option for an NS Business Card)
  • Pension contribution
  • Holiday allowance
  • 25 vacation days, with additional days from the age of 35
  • Compensation for private internet and working from home
  • A well-equipped workspace, including furniture and IT equipment for home use

And of course:

  • Experience: Learn from day one while applying your knowledge in practice
  • Hybrid working: Enjoy flexibility to work both from home and from our modern office in Zoetermeer
  • Development opportunities: We believe in your growth and provide support and training to help you develop
  • A great team: Work with enthusiastic colleagues who share your passion for learning and development

The next steps:

Have we sparked your interest? Then upload your CV, motivation letter, and transcripts (if applicable BSc and MSc combined in one PDF).

What to expect

We will help you to thrive in your field of expertise. We offer development programs, tailored to your individual needs and function requirements, including opportunities to attend courses and seminars. We offer challenging, practical hands-on experience with opportunities to work abroad. We operate in a flat organizational structure that keeps communication lines short. The atmosphere is open, informal, cooperative and positive. We employ over 900 people in the Netherlands (HQ), Belgium, Germany, France, the U.K., Romania, Italy, the U.S., Australia, Brazil, Poland, Denmark and Singapore.
